We at Laporte's strive to give a good, friendly service to all our customers.  Our aim is to provide quality food & drink.  Local, Organic and fairtrade are the main criteria of all our products.

In our café we freshly grind a strong, organic and fairtrade Arabica bean.  Combine that with fresh organic milk, and you get the best coffee in town (or so we are told!)

Our sandwiches are a meal in themselves, bursting with organic and/or local fillings.  You shouldn't need much more afterwards, but should you do, why not try a slice of our rich chocolate cake.  Or what about an old fashioned, home-made bakewell tart?

After you have been sufficiently filled, pop next door to our grocery store.  Here we sell local farmers market produce along side local & organic fruit & vegetables.  We support a veg box scheme from a near by farm.  This means you can order a box of seasonal veg, that you would collect from us weekly.  

We also have a little room where we sell old and new pieces of furniture, trinkets and pieces for the garden.  This has proved to be a very popular addition to what we do, as nothing hangs around for long!
